Striking vintage 14K yellow gold multi-gemstone brooch/pendant designed as an elaborate flowering basket or bouquet. The openwork basket is accented by a sweeping polished black onyx element and large faceted emerald stones, with numerous individually set colored gemstones forming flowers, leaves, and blossoms.
The gemstone assortment appears to include garnets, pink/red tourmalines, citrines, peridot, green chalcedony/chrysoprase, black onyx, and small diamonds. The stones are presented in an assortment of cuts, including pear, heart, marquise, rectangular, round, and fancy cuts. The reverse is fitted with a hinged pin stem with safety clasp, and foldable bail.
