Painting is not signed but looks like a good quality professional artist work. The portrait is cased in fine filigree 14 karat yellow gold frame decorated with beautiful blue enamel and sublime rose cut diamonds all the way around.

The miniature portrait is very well preserved and put between two oval glass panels, that also serve as a locket on the back.

Brooch measures: 2 1/8″ x 1 1/8″.

Portrait measures: 1 1/4″ x 1″.

Unmarked but tested and guaranteed to be 14K yellow gold.

Eight prong set rose cut diamonds, approximately 2-3mm in size each.

Simple c-clasp closure.

There is light damage to the blue enamel, the original glass is a little loose, also visible signs of old repairs on the reverse.
