An impressive antique 18K gold coiled serpent ring, designed as a snake wrapped approximately three times around the finger. The sculptural snake head is set with a graduated row of old mine/old European-style cut diamonds, including three prominent stones across the top with additional smaller diamond accents extending along the head.

The diamonds display the characteristic irregular proportions and chunky faceting associated with antique hand-cut stones. The substantial rounded gold body creates a bold three-dimensional appearance when worn.

Interior of the ring bears an “18” hallmark, indicating 18-karat gold. The overall construction, diamond cuts, and serpent motif suggest a late Victorian to Edwardian period piece, circa late 19th to early 20th century.
