Charming 19th century 14 karat yellow gold brooch/pin with a masterfully hand-painted miniature painting of two cupids playing instruments. This wonderful brooch features small seed pearl and round-cut faceted garnet surrounds.
Total of sixteen garnets with an approximately 9.0Tcw.
This brooch is in overall very good antique condition with none missing stones, enamel appears in very good condition, stones are securely set. Seed pearls and garnet not tested for origin or treatments, all are well matched.
Safety pin closure works good.
